To keep up with ever-increasing demand for fine caviar around the world and throughout the year, Bin Salem Holding has joined forces with UFT – AG Germany to develop The Caviar Plant. Located in Abu Dhabi, The Caviar Plant will be the first caviar farm in the Middle East, and the largest controlled fish breeding and cultivation (pisciculture) farm in the world.
At its state-of-the-art pisciculture farm, The Caviar Plant will produce high quality caviar that rivals the quality of the finest traditional imported varieties harvested from wild sturgeon, at significantly more affordable prices. While the Caspian Sea has traditionally been the main source of fine caviar, The Caviar Plant will produce and supply a range of fresh caviar varieties and high quality fish year-round to satisfy high demand for this gourmet product without further endangering wild sturgeon species.
